The minor premier was dismantled - Taranto's 42 in the tackle slot against a Walkabout who mustered 30 there with Sam Berry contributing nothing, and a Pirates midfield that simply outran them. Top of the ladder all season and gone in straight sets, which is a very '91 way to go about things. Fitzroy were even more emphatic. Their forwards - Morris, Georgiades, Cameron - put up 62 while the Cheats managed 28 between the three of them, and Meek and Dunkley owned the ruck and tackle slots on top of it.
